Church forced to clean up $500 worth of colourful obscenities (4 photos)

Police say there were a variety of obscenities involved

TOWN OF MINTO – On June 4, 2016 at approximately 9:50 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call from the deacon of the Mennonite Cedarvale Church located on the 11th Line of Minto Township advising that the church and property had been vandalized sometime overnight by unknown suspect/s.

Investigation revealed that unknown suspect(s) attended on the property and spray painted various obscenities on the church, garden shed, garbage bin and playground equipment using different colours of spray paint.  

It is expected to cost approximately $500 to clean up the damage.

The investigation is still ongoing.
