The CIBC Run for the Cure Guelph is back downtown this weekend to support breast cancer research.
It’s on Sunday at 55 Wyndham St. N. at the Old Quebec Street Shoppes. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the opening ceremony starts at 9:30 a.m.
Both the 1km and 5km walk or run starts at 10 a.m.
Last year CIBC Run for the Cure Guelph raised over $135,000 and had 543 participants.
By supporting CIBC Run for the Cure it funds Canada’s breast cancer research, provides wigs, headwear and breast prostheses, provides community support through peer support programs and helps people get breast cancer treatment, said on the website.
