The City of Guelph and the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) locals 241, 973 and 1946, representing outside, office and library city employees, continue to work to reach a collective agreement.

Both the City and CUPE bargaining teams have agreed to meet on February 18, 19 and March 1 to discuss agreements for locals 241 and 973, and on Saturday, February 20 to talk about the local 1946 agreement.

The City is committed to working with CUPE to reach a collective agreement that is fair for employees, reasonable and affordable for citizens, and aligns with settlements of other unionized employee groups.
