The city appointed Jeremy Laur as Guelph’s chief building official at the February 11 Council Planning Meeting.

Laur has over 20 years of progressively senior experience in the building industry, including 16 years with the city.

“Jeremy has excellent relationships with the local building and development industry,” said Todd Salter, the city’s general manager of Planning and Building Services. With his strong focus on customer service and continuous improvement, Jeremy is well-positioned for his new role as Guelph’s chief building official.”
