The City of Guelph has chosen a new temporary general manager of Guelph Transit as it searches for a permanent replacement for the departed Mike Spicer.
Robin Gerus, who was the manager of transit operations with Guelph Transit, has stepped into the role.
Gerus has been with Guelph Transit for almost two years after spending over 35 years in various roles, including several management positions, with the Toronto Transit Commission.
He temporarily replaces Mike Spicer, who announced last month he was taking a position as head of transit in Halifax.
Gerus technically becomes the sixth general manager of Guelph Transit in the past 10 years.
The city is currently looking for a permanent replacement for Spicer.
