City's biggest capital projects can now be tracked online

Report gives detailed financial and timeline information on big city projects
dashboard

The City of Guelph is now posting updated quarterly progress reports of its major capital projects on the city web site.

The reports show the status, cost of the projects, timeline, and if the project is on budget and the reason for it being over/under budget if that is the case.

Currently there are three "Tier 1" projects that can be checked online: the renovations to the Guelph Police Headquarters, the renovations to the Victoria Road Recreation Centre and the renovations and new parkade on Wilson Street.

The city divides its capital projects into three tiers. Currently only reports on the top tiered projects are available online. Eventually the lower tiered projects will also be available.

The information is on the city's website
