The Bridging Group is hosting a ‘peace potluck’ this month.

This is the second multi-faith potluck in 2019 after a successful event in February earlier this year.

The multi-faith group organization’s inspiration behind this potluck is to create an opportunity for the community to come together and reflect upon one another’s lives in Canada by congregating at the Harcourt United Church on Oct. 20 from 4 to 6 p.m.

A potluck supper will be followed by a panel discussion of new arrivals, immigrants, citizens, and members of multiple faiths discussing ‘what makes Canada a land of the free and treasured by so many?’

All community members are welcome to participate in the event and are asked to label food items with the presence of nuts, gluten, dairy and meat for people with dietary restrictions.
