GUELPH FIRE DEPARTMENT

On Oct. 28 the Guelph Fire Department responded with units from Speedvale Avenue, Elizabeth Street, Stone Road, Wyndham Street and Clair Road to a compactor/dumpster fire at 505 Edinburgh Road North (Blount Canada).

The fire was found to be confined to the described equipment. The dumpster was removed from the building and subsequently extinguished. Minor damage was also done to the compactor and the rear of the building.

There were no injuries to either firefighters or employees.
