On May 25, 2016 members of the Guelph Police Technological Crimes-Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant at a Conroy Crescent apartment, where the accused resided.

The investigation was a result of a peer-to-peer file sharing investigation.

During the search of the home, computer systems, external storage devices and other articles were seized from the home.

A 31-year-old Guelph male was arrested and charged with the possession of child pornography, making child pornography available for distribution and accessing child pornography.

This project has been made possible by a grant from the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services and the Ministry of the Attorney General.
