Cops pick up Puslinch pot

PUSLINCH TOWNSHIP – On June 6, 2016 at approximately 7 p.m. uniformed members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with the Street Crime Unit (SCU) executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence located on Laird Road in Puslinch Township.

25 marijuana plants were seized along with dried marijuana stalks with bud and loose, dried marijuana.

51-year-old Rhonda Hare of Guelph and 47-year-old Ray Patterson of Puslinch Township have been charged with possession of Schedule 2 substance over 30 grams and production of a Schedule 2 substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

They are scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 15, 2016 to answer to the charges.
