Councillor Billings has a new job

The Guelph Police Services Board welcomes Councilor Christine Billings as she joins the Board as a Municipal member, effective Dec. 1, 2016. 

She takes the place of Councilor Leanne Piper, who served on the Police Services Board for the past five years. The Board thanks Councilor Piper for her dedication, support and commitment to the work of the Guelph Police Service. 

Christine Billings was first elected to Guelph City Council in 1997 and has served as Councilor for 12 years. 

Christine has many years of experience on various committees, including Finance, Planning, Public works, Environment, Transportation, Administration and Physician recruitment.

She has also served on numerous Boards, including Guelph Wellington Dufferin Public Health for five years, Grand River Conservation Authority for three years and Guelph General Hospital Board of Directors for over 12 years, where she was also Chair of the Quality Committee for several years.

Christine looks forward to serving on the Guelph Police Services Board.
