Downtown Fergus invites you to celebrate Christmas the medieval way

The free Christmas event is a holiday-themed version of the annual Fergus Medieval Faire, which is scheduled for July 27, 2019

Downtown Fergus will come alive with holiday spirit this Saturday for the Fergus Medieval Christmas Faire.

A free fun-filled day Yuletide merrymaking, feasting, games and entertainment will be offered Saturday from noon to 5 p.m.

Among the activities offered at the one-day event will be roasted chestnuts at The Red Door, a wandering minstrel, crafts at the library and a royal court with King Richard in front of the library.

A program guide is available upon arrival, with registration for events at The Bookery.

Activities at The Bookery on Saturday will include a bard, oracle reading, and Celtic henna tattoos.

Clay making will be offered at Cava and Medieval iron forge, fire breathing and outdoor games for kids will be offered at Templin Gardens.
