A pair of longtime Upper Grand District School Board trustees were ousted in Monday night's municipal election.

Susan Moziar, who has served as a trustee for 26 years, lost her seat in Ward 2,3,4 as newcomer Mike Foley joined board chair Linda Busuttil as the representatives for that area.

Another longtime board member Marty Fairbairn, lost the lone seat for Puslinch and Ward 6, losing to newcomer Jolly Bedi by just 28 votes. (UPDATE: The City of Guelph reports the numbers of this Ward will be finalized later this week.)

Busuttil joins Mark Bailey and Martha MacNeil as Guelph trustees who kept their seats.

On the Wellington Catholic School Board, incumbent trustees Marino Gazzola, Sebastian DalBo, Vikki Dupuis and Joe Tersigni all retained their seats.
