The Elora Quarry Conservation Area will be reopening this month.

The Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA) announced Friday the popular outdoor attraction will be available for day-use only beginning June 7.

In a press release, the GRCA said to reduce the number of visitors, those wishing to visit must purchase tickets and vehicle passes online in advance before being permitted to enter the property.

Two four-hour sessions will be offered each day with capacity limited to 200 people or 150 vehicles each session. Tickets can be purchased starting Friday.

Walk-up purchases or GRCA membership passes will not be accepted.

To help avoid traffic congestion, vehicles will not be permitted to park along the side of the road in advance of scheduled entry times therefore the GRCA ask visitors to plan their arrival accordingly.
