Elora's Riverfest Festival releases 2017 lineup

Ten local bands included in 49 that will perform over the August weekend

Monster Truck, MGMT, Hollerado, The Kramdens and Mother Mother are just some of the highlights of this year’s Riverfest Festival in Elora.

The festival, which goes Aug. 18 to Aug. 20 in Bissell Park, released a lineup that features 49 acts.

The lineup includes 10 bands from Guelph, Elora and Fergus.

Other acts on the weekend are: Gogol Bordello, K.Flay, Sloan, DJ Jazzy Jeff & Skratch Bastid, USS, Austra, Hannah Georgas, Darcys, Pocket Dwellers, Jenn Grant, Little Scream, The Dirty Nil, Polaris Prize The Band, Shred Kelly, Partner, Iskwe, Neon Dreams, Samito, Motel Raphael, Saya, B.A. Johnston, My Son The Hurricane, Lee Watson, The Boo Radley Project, Lowlands, Torero, Wax Mannequin, Helena Deland, Odd Years, Mountain of Wolves, Saturdae Jonez, Tara Beier, Megan Nash, Mike Evin, Safe of Houses, Avery Raquel, Brookside, Rocket Queen, Skye Wallace, Broadway Draws, Tipping Point, Band of People, Rose Cora Perry & The Truth Untold, Peter Piper.

Weekend passes go for $139 after May 2 ($129 before), a Friday pass is $60, with Saturday and Sunday day passes available for $85.
