The TVO current affairs program The Agenda with Steve Paikin will be in Guelph March 6 to tape two episodes.

There will be a live taping of the show from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and a meet and greet with the host and producers.

The taping, which is part of the TVO On The Road series, will cover two topics.

Ontario's Food Sustainability will look at Guelph's reputation as the "agricultural epicentre of Ontario" and the subjects of food sustainability and food security. It will feature food panelists Jamie Kennedy, Joshna Maharaj along with Sylvain Charlebois of the University of Guelph Food Institute.

The second segment to be taped is titled What Ontario Can Learn From Guelph, looking at the city's employment, job growth and what other cities can learn from Guelph's success. Guests include Danby CEO Jim Estill and Gavin Armstrong of Lucky Iron Fish initiative.

The event takes place in the University of Guelph's Summerlee Science Complex Atrium.

The episodes will be broadcast on TVO on March 7 and March 8 at 8 p.m. and 11 pm.
