NEWS RELEASE
DOWNTOWN GUELPH BUSINESS ASSOCIATION
*************************
On Saturday, Oct. 26 from 12 to 3 p.m. the annual Downtown Guelph Trick-or-Treat event will be back for its fourth year. Get dressed up in your finest Hallowe’en costume, explore Downtown Guelph and score some candy at this fangtastic all-ages event.

Over 40 downtown stores will be handing out treats (or tricks!). Pick up your map on event day at one of four starting locations: Valentini Hair Design (259 Woolwich St.), The Olive Experience (132 Wyndham St. N.), The Handmade Den (24 Wilson St.) or the Guelph Public Library (100 Norfolk St.).

Once you’ve filled up with candy, head to Old Quebec Street Shoppes and take a picture at the spooky selfie station.  Post online using the hashtag  #DowntownGuelphCostumeContest and tag @DowntownGuelph to be in with a chance of winning a prize!

Head to The Dragon where you can pick up free comics as part of the annual Hallowe’en Comic Fest. Also at The Dragon, enter a raffle to win a gift basket containing hundreds of dollars worth of prizes from downtown businesses. Add your name and contact to the event map and pop it in the raffle box. It’s as easy as that!

Other fun activities that day include free Hallowe’en-themed clay building at Play with Clay, and performances at the grand opening of the Market Parkade in Market Square.

Get dressed up and have a wicked good time in Downtown Guelph.
