Cody Thompson has been missing since April 1.

The family of a missing Guelph man is very concerned about his whereabouts.

Cody Thompson, 24, was last heard from on April 1 and there has been no contact with him since, family said.

"It's been 19 days and there's been no sign, no word, no nothing," his uncle Pat Thompson said Tuesday.

"He's never gone more than two or three days without talking to his father, his mother or his brother. This is absolutely out of the norm," his uncle said.

He was last seen on April 1 around 2 p.m., in the area of Willow Road and Dawson Road. His father also spoke to him that day.

Thompson lived on Skov Crescent with his father. His mother lives in the Clinton area and he has some friends up there, but nobody has heard from him.

Aunt Kristine Thompson said her nephew's cell phone is off and none of his friends have heard from him either.

"He's never done anything like this before," she said.

The family has been out searching, has contacted police and CRIME STOPPERS and has been putting up posters. All to no avail.

"You can imagine how worried we all are," Kristine Thompson said.

Thompson is described as 5’8”, 130 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing brown pants and beige work boots.

Police are asking that if anyone has any information about the whereabouts of Thompson to contact Detective constable Scott Biser at 519-824-1212 ext. 7131. Anonymous tips can be left at CRIME STOPPERS 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or submitted online at www.csgw.tips.
