A Fergus man won $175,000 on the OLG Big Spin lottery Wednesday morning.
Earl Browning got to spin the OLG wheel for a chance to win between $100,000 and $500,000 at the OLG headquarters. The event was streamed live on the OLG web site.
Browning said he won the chance to spin the wheel by buying a ticket at the Quick Pick Variety on Tower Street in Fergus.
"I didn;t sleep at all last night," he said prior to spinning the wheel.
After winning, he said paying off some debt, hosting a family barbecue and paying some vet bills for the family cat were in the immediate plans for the money.
