Fourth mayoral debate set for Wednesday

Several other election events happening this week

There are a number of municipal election events planned for this week.

On Wednesday there will be the fourth mayoral debate. It takes place at 7 p.m. at Guelph City Hall. It is hosted by the Guelph chapter of the Council of Canadians and will be moderated by former Guelph MP Frank Valeriote.

Also on Wednesday, there will be a Ward 2 town hall at First Baptist Church at 255 Woolwich St. beginning at 7:30 p.m.

On Thursday there will be a Ward 4 town hall held at Taylor Evans public school starting at 7 p.m.

On Friday the Friends of the Guelph Public Library will be hosting an all-candidates reception at the main library between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The election is Oct. 22.

Advanced voting takes place Oct. 12, 13 and 14.
