Freezing rain closes U of G

The University of Guelph has announced this morning that campus is closed for the day due to freezing rain. Only those employees who have been notified in advance by their supervisors that they are considered essential workers as per the Hazardous Weather policy are expected to report to work.

For those employees, public transportation is recommended for safety reasons.The decision to close is based on a variety of factors, including weather forecasts, road conditions and availability of public transportation.
