NEWS RELEASE
FRIENDS OF THE GUELPH LIBRARY
*************************
After a hiatus of two years the Friends of the Guelph Library is pleased to announce the return of its annual used book sale. The focus will be on resuming a cherished community event.  The length of the sale has been extended and will run from Wednesday, Oct. 12 to Sunday, Oct. 16, 2022.

A scaled-back book sale will be held at 69 Huron St., in a different, smaller portion of the building. Although reduced in quantity, the emphasis will remain, as it always has, on offering good quality at very affordable prices.  A donation guideline for this year’s sale is available on the Friends of the GPL website, but please note that this year’s sale will include only books, DVD’s, puzzles and games, no CD’s or vinyl.

Starting July 27, donations will be accepted at the front door of the 69 Huron Street building, Monday through Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Sundays and Holiday Mondays excepted).

The public is advised not to drop off their donations at any branch of the public library, as they are not able to accept donations for this year’s sale.

For more information about sale donations or to volunteer to help with the book sale visit the Friends of the Guelph Public Library website.
