Funeral arrangements set for man killed in Saturday's crash (4 photos)

Police say that speed played a role in the collision

Funeral arrangements have been made for the young man killed on Saturday’s deadly single-car crash.

Dallas Campbell, 20, was killed after the car he was driving collided with a hydro pole near the intersection of Wellington Street and Imperial Road.

The scene is now filled with flowers, messages and pictures in remembrance of Campbell.

Police were called to the scene at approximately 12:47 a.m. on May 18 and say that speed played a role in the collision.

A female passenger remains in Hamilton hospital after she was airlifted with life-threatening injuries from the scene.

Campbell’s funeral will take place at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home at 252 Dublin St. on May 24. from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m followed by a gathering to celebrate him.

People have been taking to Facebook to post memories of Campbell and messages of what he meant to them.

"R.I.P Dallas Savage Campbell we all love you Auntie here will hold u close always in my heart and mind. Love you so much," posted his aunt Kelly Timbers along with a collage of Campbell's memories. 

"💓💓💓 .might be gone but he will never be forgotten. ðŸ’“💓💓," said Sabrina Keats in a Facebook post with a picture of Campbell and the crash scene filled with flowers.

"Dallas Austin Campbell, I can't believe this was 2009. You were like a little brother to me. Thankyou for all the fun times we had as kids. May you Rest In Peace little man ðŸ–¤ ðŸ˜­," posted Karla Patricia Oakley, along with a picture of herself and Campbell as kids.
