TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On April 27, 2018, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) will be at the McDonald's location on Tower Street in the Town of Fergus for a Coffee with a Cop program, which brings officers and the communities they serve together.
Coffee with a Cop is a community-based initiative that provides a platform for officers to engage the public in a relaxed, neutral setting of a McDonald's restaurant.
Event attendees have the opportunity to discuss policing issues and voice their personal concerns to multiple levels of management, with the overarching goal of improving trust and building relationships.
Please join us between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Friday, April 27, 2018 for a coffee with a cop.
