A driver in Guelph was caught going 120 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone, and has subsequently been charged with stunt driving.

A reminder from Guelph police that wet roads and high speeds are a dangerous combination.

This comes after a traffic officer caught a driver going twice the posted speed limit over the weekend somewhere in the city.

The driver in question was going 120 km/h in a posted 60 km/h zone.

The driver's licence was suspended for 30 days as a result, and the vehicle has been impounded for 14 days.
