Guelph MP Liz Sandals is switching portfolios.

In a cabinet shuffle announced by Premier Kathleen Wynne Monday morning, Sandals moves from Minister of Education to President of the Treasury Board.

Scarborough-Guildwood MPP Mitzie Hunter becomes the province's new Minister of Education.

Sandals, first elected in 2003 and victorious in three consecutive elections, will be responsible for overseeing the provincial government's fiscal plan.
