Guelph Police say there was no criminal suspicion surrounding the death of a
Cody Thompson, 24, disappeared April 1. After an extensive search by police, family and friends, his remains were found May
Guelph Police released the following statement Friday:
“Cody Thompson was reported missing on April 5, 2016. His remains were located on May 21, 2016. The lengthy investigation has determined that there is no criminal suspicion surrounding his death.”
Thompson battled addiction issues and was last heard from when he spoke to his father by phone in the area of the covered bridge off
A part of a photocopy of his birth certificate was later found in the area.
