Guelph Rail Safety Day features tours of 1928 caboose

The first annual Guelph Rail Safety Day takes place on Sept. 28 beside the River Run.

The event, spearheaded by the local Guelph Junction Railway, will have safety displays, booths and activities setup up, including participation from Guelph Junction Railway, Ontario Southland Railway, Canadian National, VIA Rail, Metrolinx/GO Transit and the local charitable organization, Guelph Historical Railway Association (GHRA).

The GHRA who will be putting their former Canadian Pacific circa 1928 wooden caboose on display for the public to tour.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
