The Guelph Royals will announce new ownership on Monday.

Intercounty Baseball League commissioner John Kastner announced Friday that a press conference will be held on Monday at Hastings Stadium to introduce the new owners.

The Royals folded in June during their 99th year in the IBL and since then Jim Rooney has been trying to find someone to buy the team.

There was no indication who the new owners are.
