Guelph's Terry Fox Run on Sunday raised over $34,000, bringing the total raised since the runs inception to over $1 million.
There were 420 people that took part in the annual run in Silvercreek Park, despite rain that set in mid-morning.
Organizers enterd the day just $17,000 short of the $1 million goal over the 39 years a run has been held in Guelph.
