Guelph United is one win away from earning the right to host Toronto FC in the quarter-finals of the Voyageurs Cup Canadian Championship.
To do so they have to beat the HFX Wanderers in a qualification match also set for Guelph May 10-12.
Guelph United captured the semi-professional League1 Ontario championship this season, earning the right to compete for the Canadian club championship.
HFX Wanderers play in the next level up, the Canadian Premier League. They finished in sixth place in the CPL regular seasons standings a year ago.
Toronto FC plays in Major League Soccer but takes part in the Canadian championship. They were given a bye to the quarter-final round of the Voyageurs Cup.
Ten teams will play in the preliminary round, with three teams earning a bye to the quarter-finals.
If they advance the game against TFC would be later in May.
