Guelph's COVID-19 Assessment Clinic to open on Tuesday

Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph Public Health has announced that the COVID-19 Assessment Clinic will open on Tuesday.

The clinic will be opened at 65 Delhi St., in a standalone building just south of Guelph General Hospital.

The clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, seven days a week.

Public Health says that if you are symptomatic for COVID-19:

- If your symptoms are MILD, please stay home and self-isolate.

- If your symptoms are MODERATE with fever, cough or shortness of breath, call Public Health's call centre at 1-800-265-7293 ext. 7006 or call your family doctor. They may ask that you go to the clinic. If you are sent to the assessment clinic, you will be seen by a clinician who will provide further instruction. Masks and hand sanitizer will be provided for patients upon arrival.

- If your symptoms are SEVERE and it is an emergency, please go to your nearest emergency room or call 911.
