The Guelph Punjabi Cultural Group celebrated Diwali with the Royal Diwali Gala Saturday night at the Hanlon Convention Centre.
Roughly 500 people turned out for the event, which featured music, dancing, games and great food.
The event also raised just over $11,000 for the Children's Foundation of Guelph-Wellington.
