Handbags for Hospice is returning in-person this February, for an evening of handbags, prizes, food and fundraisers in support of Hospice Wellington.
The annual event will be held in-person at the Delta Conference Centre on Feb. 23, with a goal of raising $100,000.
Last year's event was held virtually and raised over $90,000.
Tickets are on sale now for $95, and include a complimentary glass of champagne, hors d’ouvres and desserts, as well as a take home gift.
In addition, there will be a wine wall, mystery purses gift card game, a new five purses game, and fundraisers like their fund-a-need project, focusing on grief support programming at the hospice.
There will also be a silent auction, which opens to bidding online in February, as well as a live auction. Prizes will be announced before the event.
Sabrina Pearson will be hosting the event, as well as @TheAuctionista Layne, who will facilitate the live auction and fund-a-need campaign.
Those who purchase tickets early will have access to the silent auction ahead of time, to get their bids in a week or so before the event.
