TOWN OF MINTO – On Jan. 10, 2017 at approximately 6:43 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen snowmobile that was parked at a motel on King Street in Palmerston, Town of Minto.
Investigation revealed that on Jan. 9, 2017 the complainant, along with some friends, had been out riding in the area and around 6 p.m. stopped at the motel for the night. All the snowmobiles were parked out front of the motel and when they went back out in the morning, his was gone.
The snowmobile is described as a 2005 red Yamaha Rage with RS RAGE in black/white lettering on the side, bearing Ontario marker YAE137.
