The Guelph Police Services Board and the Guelph Police Service are seeking input into its next strategic plan (for the years 2019-2021).

We want to know what you believe are Guelph’s policing priorities, how you think we are doing, and what questions or concerns you believe can assist us with moving forward with our policing priorities and strategies.

We will be calling randomly selected households in Guelph to obtain feedback about the quality of policing services currently being delivered, and community priorities for policing in Guelph.

At the same time, an internet survey will sent to randomly selected people. This information from the surveys will be used to develop our corporate goals for the next strategic plan.

The survey will start July 11, 2018 and conclude in mid-August of 2018. Telephone calls will be made between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on week days only.

If you are not randomly selected to participate in the telephone or internet survey, The Board encourages the general public, neighbourhood groups, civic leaders, community agencies and business partners to share your thoughts and comments on the quality of policing in Guelph.

To share your thoughts and comments, or if you have suggestions for future policing priorities, please contact us by emailing or writing us at:

This is an excellent opportunity for you to assist us in establishing a strategic direction and setting priorities and goals that our Service would like to accomplish during the next three years.
