A health alert has been issued after three white fentanyl overdoses in Guelph today.

The drug has an icing sugar consistency and appears to be extremely potent.

Typical overdose symptoms include arms/legs/hands with muscle rigidity and clenching.

The Wellington-Dufferin Guelph Public Health issued tips to reduce your risk of overdose, including carry naloxone, never use alone, and start low and go slow. For more tips, click here.
