GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP – On Oct. 14, 2016 at approximately 6:05 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a fully engulfed structure fire at an abandoned home on the Third Line, Guelph-Eramosa Township.

Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department and Guelph Fire Department tended to the fire. 

The home was destroyed and the cause of the fire at this time is unknown. Wellington County OPP and the Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department are investigating this incident to determine the cause. 

The Office of the Ontario Fire Marshal was notified and will not be attending.
