career fair

Centennial High School will be full of inquisitive students and their parents Wednesday evening for the annual career fair.

Around 500 students in grades 7 to 12 are expected at the Your Future, Your Choice event hosted by the Career Education Council of Guelph-Wellington-Dufferin (CEC).

It takes place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Your Future, Your Choice helps students gain insight and make informed decisions about their future education, training and potential career pathways.

Students will have the opportunity to tour more than 80 displays and meet with local employers, educators and community representatives.

It’s a chance for youth to get questions answered about the multitude of pathways available to them, throughout high school and into the workplace, including high school programs, apprenticeship opportunities, training, co-op, volunteering and more.

The CEC is a local charity dedicated to providing youth with meaningful opportunities for experiential learning, career exploration and skill development.
