Innovation Guelph launches book commemorating local entrepreneurship to celebrate 10th anniversary

Discover Us, Innovation Grows Here will be available at The Bookshelf for $45 starting Sept. 30.

Innovation Guelph is celebrating its 10th anniversary by launching a book that commemorates local innovators, organizations and companies.

The book, Discover Us, Innovation Grows Here by Richard Bain illustrates many innovators associated with Innovation Guelph and aims to capture the heart of the innovation corridor and the essence of what it means to be an entrepreneur.

For example, John Sleeman provides insight into the value of mentorship in the book’s foreword that also explores regional priority sectors of advanced manufacturing, agri-innovation, cleantech and information and communication technology.

“This book highlights some of the many innovations fostered here in the heart of the Innovation Corridor. As you turn the pages, you’ll discover some of the fascinating businesses our ecosystem nurtures and benefits from,” said Innovation Guelph’s CEO Anne Toner Fung.

Books are available online at The Bookshelf for $45 starting Sept. 30.

In addition to the book launch, Innovation Guelph is showing support for local businesses and entrepreneurs with two new 10th anniversary gourmet gift boxes. Both gift boxes include a complimentary copy of Discover Us, Innovation Grows Her.

Boxes will be shipped to customers mid-November, just in time to kick off the holiday season. Boxes can be purchased here.
