Jen Lane This Life of Mine vinyl release tour is coming to Guelph on Nov. 3 at The Cornerstone where she’ll be joined by local artists Wooden Bridge and Bryan Magee-The Ktel Cowboy.

Saskatoon singer-songwriter Jen Lane created a “contemporary Canadiana country classic” this year with her newest release This Life of Mine.

After a full band national CD release tour in April/May, Jen showcased at CMW, Ness Creek, Gateway, and Dogpatch Music festivals.

In August, Lane released a 180g vinyl pressing of This Life of Mine, complete with a lyrics and chords insert, for a Choose Your Own Adventure-style listening and performing experience.

This coincided with a Western Canadian tour where she hosted several vinyl listening parties and acoustic performances.

A new music video for the title track and third single, filmed by Dana-Marie Battaglia and produced by Matt Braden Photo, includes studio and recording footage. The video follows Lane and her fellow musicians in the studio working on the song itself, capturing the essence of the entire recording experience, the atmosphere in and around the studio, and compliments Lane’s flawless vocal performance. Even the alpacas that are located on the property are featured in the video!

Make sure to check out the video and pick up the record.

Jen Lane will finish off 2016 with an Eastern Canadian tour in November, including a month-long residency at The Cameron House in Toronto, Ont.
