Award-winning singer/songwriter Lily Frost presents Retro-Moderne. Retro-Moderne is a fresh take on vintage using beats to tailor the 60s girl group and twangy sounds for a current vibe.

The show will be a performance with Lily’s band: Jesse and Jay Baird (Feist, Steven Page), Eric St. Laurent, Dan Miller and Soli Joy. Working with producer Gus Van Go (Whitehorse, Terra Lightfoot, The Stills, Jill Barber), Lily has found a perfect musical partnership. Coming out of the 60s revival scene in Montreal in the 90s, they speak the same language. The tales are cinematic and dramatic and wear the sonic wardrobe of 60s pop, spaghetti western, spiked with Latina and a touch of dreamy Hollywood.

A darling of the Canadian lounge scene, and an original of the Montreal lounge/punk scene, Frost quickly gained traction worldwide with a series of songs synched on the likes of Grey’s Anatomy, Crazy/Beautiful, Workin’ Moms, Charmed, Felicity, Degrassi and more.

She has been featured in promotions for Chevy Cobalt, and her work on the theme song and score for Being Erica received a Gemini Award nomination.
