Edinburgh Road at Willow Road remains closed to traffic as Guelph Police investigate a late-morning incident where a car struck a man in a wheelchair.
Emergency services rushed to the scene around 11:30 a.m. and the man was taken to hospital in an ambulance.
A blue Subaru Legacy could be seen having mounted an embankment at the side of the road and the wheelchair could be seen behind the rear tires.
Willow Road was also closed to traffic as the investigation continued throughout the afternoon.
