The new school on Guelph's east side set to open next year will be called École Guelph Lake Public School.

"The name was selected following the establishment of a school naming committee. The committee consulted with students, parents and staff at Couling Crescent Holding School at Tytler Public School and École King George Public School and also asked for suggestions from the wider community through a survey posted on the UGDSB website," said the Upper Grand District School Board in a press release.
