The Beer Store on Woolwich Street will start taking back empties again starting Monday, April 6.
The Beer Store announced that 71 locations in Ontario will start taking returns again.
"To facilitate an orderly restoration of the recycling program, we have temporarily reduced the number of stores accepting empties. This will allow our retail operations to ensure we have substantial quantities of personal protective equipment (PPE) along with safeguarding the operational maintenance of social distancing with increased store traffic," said a news release.
The 71 locations locations will modify hours to 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and regular operating hours on Sunday.
This applies only to the Guelph location at 710 Woolwich St.
