7:35 p.m. update

The Toronto Police Service has stated that the baby in question has been located safe.

The Amber Alert has been cancelled.

The suspect is still at large.

Original 5:30 p.m. notification

The Toronto Police Service has issued an Amber Alert for a three-month-old Caucasian boy with short dark hair.

He's wearing a blue and yellow onsie and striped blue pants, and weighs approximately 15 lbs.

The suspected abductor is described as a white male, 40 to 45 years old, medium build, 5 feet 11 inches tall, with short blond hair.

The suspect was also reportedly wearing a backpack.

The suspect and child were last observed driving northbound on Highway 27 near Albion Road in a grey/silver coloured 4-door 1997 Toyota Camry, Ontario license plate number BWRC 161.

Anyone who sees this vehicle should call 9-1-1 immediately.
