OPP and fire department investigating cabin fire

GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP – On Nov. 18, 2016, Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding an extinguished structure fire at a vacant cabin that was discovered by the property owner. 

The property is located approximately 1 km from the roadway near Wellington Road 29 and Barden Street, Guelph-Eramosa Township.  

It was completely destroyed and it is believed that the fire took place sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 17.

Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department attended the scene and the cause at this time is unknown. This incident is being investigated by the Wellington County OPP and the Guelph-Eramosa Fire Department.
