WELLINGTON COUNTY OPP

(TOWNSHIP OF GUELPH/ERAMOSA) - On September 20, 2022, at approximately 8:45 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious collision at the intersection of Highway 6 and Wellington Road 38, north of Guelph. Initial reports indicated that a motorcycle and a sedan had collided and that there were serious injuries.
The operator of the motorcycle, Brian L. JOLLEY, 47-years-old of Fergus, was pronounced deceased at scene. The operator of the sedan was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The roadway was closed for several hours. The Wellington County OPP and the Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team continue to investigate.
