OPP seek witnesses in e-bike collision

WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP – Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating a fail to remain motor vehicle collision that involved an e-bike and an older model, white cargo van. 

The collision occurred on May 27, 2016 at approximately 6 p.m. in the intersection at Main Street South and Queen Street in the Town of Mount Forest, Wellington North Township.

The male operator of the e-bike sustained minor injuries due to the collision.

The driver of the van who failed to stop at the scene is described as a young male in his 20’s or possible younger.

There may be damage to the van’s windshield and hood as a result of the collision.

This investigation is still ongoing and any person with information regarding this collision is asked to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
