The owner of 512 Woolwich St. is asking for a minor zoning adjustment to make a daycare centre a permitted use.

A new daycare may be on its way to the Exhibition Park neighbourhood.

The owner of 512 Woolwich St., located between Division and Verney streets, is seeking permission from the city’s committee of adjustment to allow a daycare there.

Current zoning allows for the building’s use as a medical centre, office space, an arts studio and/or gallery, as well as a library.

The committee is set to consider the daycare request during its June 8 meeting, which begins at 4 p.m. at city hall. People are welcome to attend in person or watch the meeting online at guelph.ca/live.

Anyone wanting to address the committee must register with the committee no later than noon on June 7. To do so, call 519-822-1260 ext. 2524 or email [email protected].
